4×6 Moroccan Rugs

Measuring approximately 122 × 183 cm, these rugs work in entryways, studies, bedrooms, nurseries, bathrooms-with-dry-feet, and as layers over larger rugs. With close to fifty designs in stock, the 4×6 range is one of the most useful corners of the catalog.

These are not scaled-down afterthoughts — each 4×6 rug is an individual hand-knotted piece in 100% wool, designed by its weaver at this exact size. The majority of the collection is Beni Ourain, which suits the format beautifully: the cream field and sparse brown diamonds create a calm anchor for a small room. A handful of Mrirt and Azilal pieces bring more contrast for entryways that need a stronger first impression.

As a rule, a 4×6 rug suits rooms from about 8 × 10 feet upward, and it is an excellent runner-alternative for narrow hallways when laid lengthways. Because the whole collection is handmade, each piece is one-of-one — when a design sells, it is retired. If your room calls for a slightly different footprint, most designs can also be custom-woven to your measurements.
