FAQ
Everything you might want to know about our authentic wool Berber rugs before bringing a piece home.
Yes. Every rug in our collection is hand-knotted by a single weaver on a traditional vertical loom. No two rugs are the same, and no rug is ever rewoven.
Our rugs are woven from highland wool sheared from sheep raised in the Atlas Mountains. Dyes are natural — madder for red, indigo for blue, saffron and wildflowers for yellow. No synthetics.
Between two and six months, depending on the size and complexity. A large Mrirt can take a single weaver four months of daily work.
Naturally dyed wool softens gently with light over decades. This is considered a feature of heritage rugs. Keep your rug out of direct sun and it will patinate beautifully.
Worldwide. Shipping is free on every order, fully tracked, and insured door-to-door.
Orders leave our studio within two business days. Typical door-to-door transit is 5–10 business days. You'll receive a tracking link the moment your rug ships.
If a rug doesn't feel right in your space, return it within 30 days for a full refund. The rug must be returned in its original condition.
For most destinations, import duties are included in our pricing. If your country requires a customs payment, we'll make that clear at checkout.
Vacuum gently without a beater bar. Rotate every six months to distribute wear. Spot-clean spills with cold water and mild wool detergent.
Yes — wool is naturally resilient and self-cleaning. For very high-traffic spaces, consider a kilim which is flat-woven.
